Christmas Social Coming Soon

The Christmas Social is nearly here again. We need:

  • Ideas for activities (I anticipate at least a quiz and a raffle)
  • Offers for puddings
  • Numbers that will be attending so we can plan food
  • Details of special dietary requirements
  • Your presence at the meeting!

There will be a small charge for the event to cover costs, but this is not a fund-raiser.

      Thanks to everyone who came to the social evening and especial thanks to Mike who did a wonderful job with the catering, and to John and Rosemary for doing the shopping. Thanks too to Jan for helping set up.

      The quiz had at least two errors in it for which I stand guilty, but hopefully this didn’t affect the fun of trying to answer some impossible questions.

      We had a wonderful singing performance from Emily and Charlotte, and some fun card games. “Apples to Apples” proved a great success, and Dick and I foiled the attempts of The Resistance to overthrow our great and glorious government. Rosemary seemed to be the Flaschenteufel champion.
